Job Mission/Purpose
To help build, enhance, protect and restore the Aboitiz reputation by supporting the Vice President of Reputation Management through developing, implementing, and monitoring the company's sustainability strategies and initiatives. Formulate sustainability initiative campaigns and budget as well as manage both internal and external communications in promoting the group-wide sustainability agenda. Able to make independent decisions and high level problem or situation analysis, and gained wide breadth of experience in sustainability principles, leadership & management skills. Develop sustainability initiative campaigns and budget as well as managing sustainability-linked internal and external communications in promoting the group-wide sustainability agenda, working together with the AEV Media Team.

Responsibilities
OneAboitiz Sustainability Policies and Strategies
- Develops, recommends, and implements sustainability policies, guidelines, and procedures while supporting long-term strategic planning and decision-making in coordination with the FVP-CRSO for the Aboitiz Group.
Sustainability Programs and Initiatives

Conceptualize, develop strategies for implementation, monitoring and evaluation of progress of sustainability
Sustainability Reporting
- Ensures alignment with international sustainability reporting standards (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD, TNFD, IFRS S1 and S2, IR) and delivers comprehensive reports to enhance awareness and engagement among internal and external stakeholders
Collaboration with Aboitiz Group Sustainability Champions

Leading coordination and collaboration with the sustainability champions of each business unit to enable and implement Groupwide sustainability programs at the business unit level, including secretariat management for the Aboitiz Group Sustainability Council
Communication Planning

Supports in the development of the communication plans related to sustainability programs to effectively implement campaigns and programs to its target audience
Business Orientation and Leadership

Supports ESCG Board leadership discussions by providing recommendations for improving the 10-Year ESG Strategy and analyzes sustainability-related expenses to optimize budgets for business growth opportunities
Studies and Research
- Conducts research, data gathering, and benchmarking of global ESG ratings, assessments, and sustainability trends to justify and support the approval of studies, campaigns, and initiatives
Manages Individual Development Plans (IDP)

Guides the personal and professional development of direct reports through training, leadership opportunities, and networking to further hone their skills in contributing to the company’s growth.
Stakeholder Engagements

Builds and sustains mutually beneficial relationships and strategizes key partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen the network and develop the values of teamwork and responsibility.

- Completion of scheduled discussions and presentations to ESCG Board
- Completion of planned deliverables through effective and prudent budget utilization limited to a variance of maximum of 15% underspending or no overspending

- Number of programs that emanates from research data, ESG benchmarking tools and global trends
