Job Mission/Purpose
Manages the overall Group Business Continuity Program which covers the continuous maintenance and upgrading of the BCM initiatives within the organization

Responsibilities
BUSINESS CONTINUITY MANAGEMENT GOVERNANCE
- Develops, implements, and maintains a sustainable BCM Program. Ensures continuity of critical business functions through regular review, updating, and development of BCM policies, guidelines, procedures, and plans.
- Facilitates planning, coordinating, testing, and maintenance of new and existing Group-wide BCPs
- During incidents, provides guidance to the AEV Corporate Center and, if needed, the SBUs/BUs with the identification, management, and implementation of appropriate Business Continuity Plans
- Acts as a subject matter expert for BCM related activities
- Responsible for managing, coordinating BCM Audit and Assurance activities.
GROUP-WIDE INCIDENT MONITORING
- As the Incident Secretariat, assume incident management responsibilities from business continuity response to recovery.
BUSINESS CONTINUITY MANAGEMENT CAPABILITY BUILDING
- Drives internal awareness and understanding through various trainings, and presentations to risk professionals and all team members in the Group.
- Keeps abreast of industry best practices in business continuity and trends and provides advisory services on these.
BUSINESS CONTINUITY MANAGEMENT BUSINESS PARTNERING
- Assist and support newly acquired/start-up business units/projects in running and incorporating business continuity programs and considerations.
- Regular strategic / coordination meetings with internal key stakeholders, functional groups within the organization, and external BCM experts / advisors.
Additional Responsibilities
- Acts as Safety Committee Vice Chairman of Aboitiz Group NAC Safety Committee. Mainly co-chair safety committee meetings and works in close coordination with the Committee on plans and programs.
