Job Mission/Purpose

The Application Support Manager will manage the performance of the Applications Support Team, and ensure that Service Level Agreements are achieved as set by the business.

He/She will work very closely with the AEV IT solutioning team; meeting regularly with Product Owners or Product Managers to understand and communicate relevant updates and new features to the wider business, and to continually improve synergy and process flows between Support and Development teams.

Responsibilities

1. Team Management

  • Manages ERP and business applications support team
  • Develops plans for continuous improvement
  • Development of team members in order to optimize team resources.

2. Operations Management

  • Manages ERP Systems in order to ensure compliance with service commitments and standards specified in the Service Level Agreement (SLA) to Business Units.
  • Oversee all requests, incidents, and problems related to ERP and business applications; acting as a next-point of escalation and coordinate response to critical issues raised.

3. Management Reporting - Provide comprehensive ad-hoc and monthly reports on;

  • Product Support tickets,
  • Problem tickets and bugs raised to the in-house solutioning team
  • SLA Compliance

4. Continuous Improvement

  • Periodically examine different areas of application support processes and recommend potential improvements on process or automation.
  • Work with Product Owners and Product Managers, IT Operations to ensure stakeholders have a consistent level of product knowledge.

Additional Responsibilities

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Software Engineering

Work Experience

At least 5 years of relevant work experience

License / Certification and Training Requirement

Information Technology Infrastructure Library
Oracle Certified Professional
