Enable a high performing and learning organization by driving Aboitiz learning ecosystem and implementing learning and development interventions that support both org and business goals, competency requirements, individual talent needs.

Learning and Development / Capability building

  • Ensure Aboitiz learning ecosystem has the right L&D strategies, interventions/programs, and methods that are aligned with business and org needs (e.g GT), and individual talent needs. 
  • Handle end-to-end program planning, execution, and post-program evaluation of Aboitiz Academy for AEV and groupwide offering
  • Partner with Talent Optimization Officer to provide development programs that will support team members’ career plans and growth aspirations.
  • Use data analytics to continuously assess the effectiveness of L&D programs
  • Continuously evaluates existing learning programs and policies to ensure its effectiveness and impact on the organization
  • Facilitate planning, scoping, program execution, and evaluation of learning series e.g Board Learning Series, Leaders Connect
  • Manage and optimize digital learning platforms (e.g LinkedIn Learning, MyTX learning collections)  
  • Manage L&D budget and resources
  • Handle negotiation and partnering with L&D consultants, vendors, and suppliers

Systems management (L&D-related)

  • Update, upkeep, and optimize use of  L&D-related systems and modules e.g LinkedIn Learning, SAP Success Factors (MyTX), and Leena AI (CHRis bot)

Competency Management

  • Assist in the development and implementation of competency frameworks, processes, and tools aligned to Aboitiz objectives
  • Develop and update organization’s core, job-specific/technical, and leadership capabilities/competencies and map to job profiles

Additional Responsibilities

Provide support in other talent optimization and engagement program of the team

  • Timeliness of L&D programs execution

  • Accuracy and updating of L&D-systems

I. Universal: Communication

Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduate of Bachelor’s/College Degree in BS Human Resource Management, Psychology, Behavioral Science or any related course
  • At least five (5) years of work experience in talent management, specifically on learning and development
  • Ability to design and customize training programs with strong organization, administrative, planning, and facilitation skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Familiarity with learning management systems, technology, and platforms (preferably SAP Success Factors)
  • Computer and content creation skills (preferably Google Suites, Canva, photo/video editing tools)
